Suna’s Daughters met with its public-sector partners in Şanlıurfa—where it implements all of its models and programs—to review current activities in the field, discuss identified needs, and align priorities for the period ahead.
The program of field visits and stakeholder meetings was held with the participation of Suna’s Daughters’ founder, İpek Kıraç. Discussions focused on the existing framework of efforts to strengthen girls’ access to education, as well as the partnerships that support this work, with particular attention to mutual expectations and areas for coordination.
As part of the visit program, meetings were held with Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak and his spouse, Fatma Nur Şıldak, during which the parties exchanged views on province-wide initiatives and collaborative approaches developed with public institutions. The program also included meetings with Harran District Governor Harun Reşit Han and Harran District Director of National Education Mehmet Asutay to review the current status of programs implemented with local stakeholders and to explore potential areas for future cooperation.
These visits provided a basis for assessing the on-the-ground impact of Suna’s Daughters’ work—shaped by sensitivity to local needs and carried out in close coordination with public institutions—and for further strengthening these collaborations.
