Open Workshop Begins at Pera Museum

Open Workshop Begins at Pera Museum

Inviting participants of all ages to freely create, the Open Workshop turns art into a shared experience at Pera Museum. Taking place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between August 7 and 30, the program blends personal expression with collective creation.

Perceiving art as a meeting space, Open Workshop offers an open space where everyone can participate in the creative process regardless of age, experience, or skill. This event, free of charge for museum visitors, draws richness from the themes and meanings of the collections and exhibitions and transforms the audience into active participants.

The workshop space invites participants to engage in a creative production process through various means of expression. Participants explore visual expression using various media, from painting and collage to three-dimensional design materials like clay. Pera Museum's collection and temporary exhibitions provide artistic inspiration and enrich individual creations.

The workshop also includes a collective wall piece co-created by the participants. Individual contributions combine in this joint production space to create a polyphonic and multi-layered work.

Open Workshop welcomes participants of all ages who want to connect with art on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 18:00 between August 7 and 30!
