The Girls-Centered Design Workshop, held on November 22 and organized by Suna’s Daughters with the support of the Turkish Philanthropy Funds, brought together public and local government representatives in Hatay. The event addressed design processes centered on the needs, rights, and dreams of girls.
The workshop emphasized the importance of adopting an inclusive and equitable urban approach during Hatay’s reconstruction process, aiming to guide design processes by considering the needs, rights, and dreams of all children, especially girls. Discussions revolved around solutions to support girls in achieving equal opportunities in all areas of life, with active participation from public and local government representatives.
Held in an interactive setting, the workshop facilitated knowledge sharing and the development of innovative ideas for an inclusive future. It was highlighted that efforts would continue collaboratively to build a strong, fair, and equal world that girls rightfully deserve.

Scheduled to take place between July 22 and 31, 2025, the Summer Holiday Workshops program brings together children aged 4 to 12 with creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning.
In the Istanbul edition of Suna’nın Kızları Summer Institute, girls engaged with art, history, technology, and creativity. Enriched with special guided tours of collections and temporary exhibitions, VR experiences, and collective workshops, the program offered an inspiring space for learning and sharing.
