Suna'nın Kızları is a long-term project launched in 2021 by İpek Kıraç under the umbrella of the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation. Suna’nın Kızları (Suna’s Daughters) aims to uplift the educational and developmental journey of children, especially girls. The initiative honors the educational efforts, values, goals and vision of businesswoman Suna Kıraç, who made significant contributions to the development of industry, education, culture and arts in Türkiye.
Inspired by the intergenerational and intersectoral solidarity that makes achievements in the field of education possible, Suna'nın Kızları aims to contribute to the creation of supportive and safe environments for children through education, especially by leveraging the progress made in the field of girls' schooling.
In order to achieve its goals, Suna'nın Kızları supports the creation of Solution and Support Circles with a collective impact approach at its center; invests in data-driven knowledge generation and incubation; and aims to create safe and supportive ecosystems for children through proven education-based models developed by communities.
Suna'nın Kızları organizes awareness-raising workshops with communication professionals who play a highly strategic role in transforming and managing childism, aged-based prejudice and discrimination against children.
Suna'nın Kızları aims to create “Neighborhoods that Support Children” in cooperation with the Şanlıurfa Governorship, and in this framework, provides Social Emotional Learning and School-Based Child Protection Support System training to teachers.
With the support of Turkish Philanthropy Funds, Suna'nın Kızları launched a two-year project in Hatay, aiming to increase children's access to social services and empower girls to take an active role in change.
